We've been traveling for years, crisscrossing Italy. While Sardinia remains our safe haven for the summer season, the months from September to May offer us ever-new challenges: from the most luxurious weddings to "Arabian Nights"-esque corporate events. Yet, some calls have a different feel.
Recently, we landed in Bordeaux for an event that would be an understatement to call "work." It was the birthday of a loved one, someone with whom we've shared experiences for over twenty years. More than clients, they're people with whom we simply feel at home.
When you receive a call for an intimate event, where only your closest loved ones are invited, and you hear, "You have to be there," the flattery immediately gives way to responsibility. The trust that is renewed each time is our drive to never take anything for granted.
For the three evenings in Bordeaux, the preparation was meticulous:
Experiencing Bordeaux means being captivated. As Italians, we're used to it, but we have to admit: our French cousins know their stuff. Between sessions, we indulged in the luxury of discovering their historic cellars and their surprisingly unique cuisine.
Often, at events of this magnitude, we share the stage with artists of national or international caliber. This time, however, we were alone. Being the sole musical protagonists raised the bar for our attention: every note, every pause, every interaction was our complete responsibility.
There's a magical moment in our work: the return flight. It's there, among the clouds, that we pause to reflect. This time too, the feedback from our guests and the warmth of the celebrants confirmed that everything went as planned.
We return home with suitcases full of new memories, ready for the next challenge, but with the knowledge that it's human relationships that make every note of our music special.
