There are journeys that begin with a challenge and end in wonder. Our first time in Marrakech, at the end of June, was exactly that: a mix of adrenaline, endless exhaustion, and, finally, pure beauty.
It all began at dawn, with the 6:00 a.m. flight from Olbia. Arriving in Rome, we received the news every traveler dreads: a sudden strike, a canceled flight to Marrakech. At that moment, when the first evening seemed lost, our "Angels" stepped in.
We weren't alone: the team from the partner company we've been working with for years took immediate action. Thanks to their constant support and emergency logistics, we found the only way out: a 9:00 p.m. Air Maroc flight with a stopover in Casablanca.
The trip became an odyssey. I will forever remember the moment I, exhausted, fell asleep on my suitcase while waiting for my last connection. But the determination to arrive was stronger than our tiredness.
Despite the missed first evening, we didn't lose heart. From the next morning, the desert and the colors of Marrakech gave us the energy to face the remaining three evenings, each set in dreamy settings:
The final evening was a total sensory experience. Sharing the stage and being able to attend Noemi's concert in such a surreal setting was a rare privilege. Her voice in the silence of the desert, followed by the most beautiful fireworks I've ever seen, instantly erased every hour of lost sleep and every airport stress.
Marrakech taught us that in our work, the human element and the ability to adapt are everything. Without our partners and our desire to be there at all costs, we wouldn't have been able to experience this magic.
We return to Sardinia tired, but with our eyes filled with the desert and our hearts still beating to the rhythm of the music.
